Fynns Spinal Cord Injury

Donation protected

Hi everyone. My name is Amy Beadle. My boyfriend, Justin Munro's son, Fynn Munro is an 11 year old boy that loves playing football, basketball, baseball, even tried his hand at wrestling for a couple years. He has to be the youngest motor head I know. You ask him what kind of car that is he can tell you year, make, model, what size engine it probably has and even how many where made in a certain year. He loves tubing, swimming, going for bike rides, playing street ball with all the neighborhood kids in the summer. Sledding in the winter. He has a sense of humor like no other. Plays video games with the best of them. He can even tell you when Ozzy or Rush comes in the radio! What 11 year old even knows who they are? On November 22nd school was cancelled due to the weather. He was outside playing in the snow and attempted to do a flip into the snow. Something kids do everyday, except this time with a tragic outcome. He didn't complete the flip. He broke his C2 through C6 vertebrae and severely bruised his spinal cord. He was airlifted to Upstate Medical as he could not move. Emergency surgery was done that evening to fuse the broken vertebrae and to put a cage on his spine to stabilize his spine and spinal cord. He has lost the use of his arms and legs. The doctors can not say if he will regain the use. His parents, Justin Munro and Sara Watts have not left his side since this has happened. They all are facing many challenges physically, emotionally, financially. Fynn, Justin and Sara are all strong willed, fighters and I am positive that they will not give in or give up. They face a long road with alot of hard work, doctors, physical therapist, medical needs. They are not the type of people to ask for help. If they need something they figure out how to make it work. But this is a life changing event that is way out of anyone's imagination. I am asking for them. We need your help to ensure that Fynn gets the help he needs. Due to this accident neither of his parents are working because they refuse to leave his side to ensure he is getting the care he needs. No donation is too small. Let's all help Fynn get the best of the best and pray and send positive thoughts his way. Let's show Fynn and his family that he has even more family and friends then he could imagine. FYNN- we love you!
