Daniel Correa has always had a challenging, playful fighting spirit. Daniel once centered his life and career around his love for helping others and was an ER nurse for 8 years. His nursing has been put on hold for various reasons including taking time to care for his own health. In August 2014 Daniel was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. Over 2 years later Daniel is still fighting his battle and although has not given up his fighting spirit, he has incurred and will continue to incur medical costs. Daniel decided to have his cancer surgically removed in January resulting in more chemotherapy treatments to hopefully eradicate the cancer. Daniel has recovered quite well from this surgery but has still been unable to return to work because he is not yet cleared. Daniel is now undergoing the most invasive form of chemotherapy treatment to beat this monster once and for all! His last IV treatment is May 3 and we are all crossing our fingers for a full recovery and cancer free man post chemo regiments ending May 24.
Daniel is the father of two beautiful children whom he hopes to watch grow old. He has also often talked about his goals of motivating others to do better, to be better, and he has worked towards becoming a motivational speaker by sharing his life experiences so he can go back to the community where he is from to speak with children and the community to inspire others to make their lives meaningful. He is not a quitter or someone who easily gives up. More than anyone I know he has a positive and beautiful outlook on life that is infectious. He has shaped and healed my life in many ways simply by being the individual that he is. Please help to keep Daniel's kind heart and ambitious spirit that should be shared with others alive. No donation is too small...kind words, thoughts, prayers, love, light, mediation, and of course donations of any monetary value are much appreciated. Love and Light, Sarah.
