I love hearing the body of Christ lifting up their voice in one accord. When a group of people come together, with one purpose, and one goal, reaching to God through despair, and finding hope in Him through a prayerful song, it feels right. I believe this is what we're called to do- to sing despite despair.
This August I will be going in to the Studio to record a record called Death and Life. I wrote these songs for the church. I saw the pain of loss, the tragedy of death and sickness, and the hurting hearts in, not only my own congregation but also the church abroad, and God put it on my heart to write songs for us to sing to Him even through the midst of the hardest trials of our lives. Everyone faces death, and everyone needs a song to sing in the midst of it. These songs mean the world to me, and I would love it if you would be apart of creating this record!
With amazing help from my friends and family I have been able to raise quite a bit to fund this record, however, I can't do the rest by myself. Please pray about being apart of this record by supporting it financially! Whether it's 5 or 5,000 dollars, everything will help! Let's work together to get these songs into the hands of the hurting, the lost, and the seekers of our one-true God.
I'll be honest, I'm frightened to ask for help, but I know that God is calling this work into existence and will provide the funds. I also know that we are one body in Christ, and as such we work as body, not just alone. So I'm asking you to pray about being apart of this step of faith!
So here it is- I need another $10,000. Crazy, I know, but I believe in God's sovereignty and power, and I know He is capable of anything! Will you be apart of this record with me?
