When we meet Carrie we see her kind smile, what we don’t see is the pain which takes hold of her for 1-2 solid months a year and various days in between. She suffers from cluster migraines, often referred to as ‘suicide headaches.’ The pain is often overlooked because there are no physical tell tale signs of what Carrie is experiencing. The pain is enough to induce vomiting; it is so bad she can not speak, let alone do what needs doing. She has been in and out of the hospital, tried various treatments with little success, and has been hospitalized several times this month alone. She has worked in home health and hospice caring for others for the last 8 years. When one of her clients fell on hard times, she invited them to live with her and housed them for several months. Currently, she balances various cleaning jobs, but due to her cluster migraines has been out of work for a month now. As a result she has fallen on hard times herself. If you have it in your heart, please help her the same way she has helped others over the years.
Please pray for her.
Thank you.
