Keith Needs us Now

Hi My Name is Caryn. My daughter and my son in law Keith are going through some of the hardest most life threatening moments. Keith started his career as a FDNY Haz-Mat EMT. Shortly after starting with the FDNY the horrific WTC 9/11 happened. He was one of the very first responders down at ground zero since the day it happened for an entire year to follow as the search, rescue and recovery effects continued. He then got called to the DSNY after working with the FDNY for 6 years. He has been working for NYC for over 20+ years. He has four beautiful children with my daughter and I am trying to help them save their home from going into foreclosure and from losing all that they have worked so hard for in the past.

The reason we are asking for help is because right Keith is sick since getting COVID and the vaccine/booster, with a life threatening medical condition that has not yet been diagnosed by any doctors. He has been to multiple infectious disease doctors, cardiologist, Immunologists, hematologist/oncologist, rheumatologist and are continuing to go to any other specialist and hospitals that can help them figure out what is causing all this. Keith is out of work right now and very sick not knowing what is going on with him. My daughter just lost her job because she had to take care of her children and husband. It’s just so sad that this all started from COVID and the vaccines, bringing out anything that was lying dominant in Keith’s body from being a first responder in WTC 9/11.

Recently on Saturday Keith was brought to the hospital due to severe inflammation to the face. Unfortunately again he was told that there is nothing they can do for him because they don’t know what’s causing this. After being released Keith had an emergency appointment with his immunologist who stated that they’re going to do more testing. Upon more testing and Keith started having another swelling attack and now they’re sending him to have a PET scan and a bone marrow biopsy due to the blood levels that have came up in his recent bloodwork.

My Son-in-law means the world to me, to my daughter, to my four Grandchildren, his mom and dad and family!! So I am reaching out to everybody to please take a minute to donate if you can, or a simple share or even just to please say a prayers for them especially Keith.

Keith dedicated so much time and his life as a first responser with the FDNY and DSNY. He’s been a part of WTC 9/11, Hurricane Sandy, the COVID Pandemic, and until he got sick he did this continuously.

This situation has Gone from Bad to become so serious that they have no money pay the bills. At any time, anyone of the utilities could be shut off and would be devastating to this family. Not knowing what is wrong with Keith has been totally Heart breaking for the family. Not knowing what is wrong with Keith is taking its toll on all of them. He has been rushed to the hospital/specialists so many times it's unbelievable. He has had over four hundred different tests, CT scans and most recently PET CT resulting in Keith having to get a Bone Marrow Biopsy for further testing. There are so many different diseases now coming out over 20 years later, after being a First responder in the rescue and recovery effects of WTC 9/11. Keith is being tested to check for 9/11 related cancers now. If you all could reach deep into your hearts and understand the severity of the situation. Without a diagnosis, then Keith and his family cannot get any WTC 9/11 relief fund money to help them until fully diagnosed.

Please, I do not want to see my son-in-law and daughter and family get hungry or worse, become homeless because they cannot pay for their mortgage or any other utilities. In addition to Day-to-day living expenses like diapers, and wipes, doctor copays. They also need gas to take Keith to the numerous doctor appointments, tolls for trips into the city for doctors/clinics and children places. Whatever you can do will be much appreciated. This family is the first to always help others and now it’s our turn to help them.
