These things tend to be a little awkward but sometimes it’s the last resort. My best friend, (the most selfless, caring human being to ever grace this planet) is in absolute shambles right now.

Nova (Our sweet girl that I slightly forced her to rescue) is in need of our help. I just got the phone call that she needs emergency surgery immediately. This is the details posted from Deanas social media - “Today, after an emergency visit to the vet, we got news that our sweet baby Nova has a collapsed lung / Spontaneous pneumothorax. A scary diagnosis that wasn’t even a thought when we took her in.

She will need an emergency placement of 2 chest tubes to evacuate the air trapped inside her chest, several more tests, oxygen therapy, & a whole lot of prayers to pull through.

We will have to leave her for a few days until she can get brought to a specialist if she makes it through observation after the procedure. She’s currently getting prepped so they can get started & naturally I’m a nervous wreck.

Whatever, or whoever you pray to, i ask that you please say a prayer for my Nova girl. She brings so much joy to our lives & i dont know what I’d do without her.
