Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

We are reaching out today with heavy hearts and tears in our eyes. Our precious daughter, Rain, has tragically passed away before the tender age of two. She was truly the light of our lives and wellspring of unfettered joy and love. She was our Godsent sent beacon. Our world has darkened and life’s greatest storm has set in. Her loss has left a sudden void in our hearts that can never be filled. Such is the way of true love, and we love her truly, forever, and always.

In her short time with us, Rain brought us immeasurable joy and happiness. We were constantly in awe of her curiosity and wonder as she challenged the world around her, and we cherished every single moment we spent with her. Her radiant smile, her infectious laughter, and her sparkling eyes filled our lives with love and longing for more. Sadly, our time with her in this life has ended far, far too soon.

We cannot yet reconcile why Rain's life was cut short by a terrible accident. Answers to why we may carry with us until we are reunited with Rain in His eternal paradise. We are devastated beyond words. The pain of her loss is almost unbearable. We take some solace in knowing that she is now with her creator, free from all suffering, pain, or confusion, enveloped by an immeasurable and perfect love. In time, we pray knowing this may temper this blow and her loss be made sufferable.

We are reaching out to you today to ask for your help in covering the cost to lay Rain in eternal rest. We never imagined that we would have to say goodbye to our little angel so soon. As we attend to this fresh emotional pain, we also struggle to come to terms with the financial burden that comes with such a tragic loss.

In the hours since Rain left us, we’ve received so many heartfelt condolences and we count each one as a blessing. You’ve all supported us in so many ways as we started our family journey together. We appreciated every gesture of kindness; they’ve meant the world to us. Once more we come with humility and gratitude but come also with unbounded grief. Any amount that you can give, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. It would grant us opportunity to give Rain the beautiful farewell that she deserves and allow us to begin the journey of mourning and healing ahead.

We want to express our heartfelt thankfulness in advance for your kindness and generosity during this difficult time. Your support means more to us than words can ever express. We will never forget the love and compassion that you have shown us, and we will always be grateful for your help in honoring Rain's memory.
