Help Dainius Beat Cancer

Dear Friends,
My name is Aida, and I genuinely appreciate you taking a moment to read my friend Dainius's story.
Six months ago, a few days before his 49th birthday, Dainius received a life-changing diagnosis. A scarce type of cancer is called a malignant glomus tumor. He had a slight cough and chest pressure for several weeks, and his wife urged him to go to immediate care, thinking it was likely a viral infection. The physician ordered a chest X-ray which revealed a mass in the chest that had metastasized into both lungs. This news devastated his wife, Lina, his 15-year-old son, Dan, and his 30-year-old daughter, Ginta.
A native of Lithuania, Dainius married his high school sweetheart Lina (while they were STILL in high school) shortly after learning that Lina was pregnant with their daughter Ginta. In a bold move of aspiration, they moved to the United States in their twenties and not long after Ginta’s 8th birthday. They are the personification of a true love story.
Dainius has been fighting for his life for the last six months at Northwestern Medicine. He has been through multiple rounds of inpatient chemotherapy, as well as outpatient chemotherapy. After mixed results with chemotherapy, he was recently admitted to a clinical trial that deploys a targeted therapy drug.
Medical bills have accumulated considerably during this challenging time, causing added stress and anxiety. Dainius’ primary objective is to focus on treatment and healing. Your kind support would go towards easing the financial burden of this situation, allowing him to remain resolute in his battle to overcome this disease.
If you cannot contribute money now, a share with your friends and family would also mean the world to me.
Please keep Dainius and his family in your thoughts and prayers!
Sincerely,
Aida
