My name is Audrey and I am a friend of Salena Quinn. On March 14th, 2023 Salena was diagnosed with endometrioid adenocarcinoma (endometrial cancer) at the age of 43. Salena had a radical hysterectomy on March 31st which included removal of her uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, and cervix. During her hysterectomy, her oncologist also removed an enlarged lymph node from her pelvis which turned out to be cancerous. With this finding, Salena was upgraded from stage I/II endometrial cancer to stage IIIC and will need both chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

Salena will begin chemotherapy on May 11, 2023, and immunotherapy immediately after. These treatments can be intense and time-consuming, occupying the next two years of her life and affecting her ability to work. In addition, her savings have run out since she lost her job in 2022.

This diagnosis has taken a toll on Salena emotionally and financially so she can use all the help she can get. Your donations will go toward covering expenses for Salena while she goes through chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
