My name is Jamie and I am a sixth-form pupil at Warminster School. As part of my EPQ, I am doing a fundraising event in aid of Cardiomyopathy UK. Cardiomyopathy is a disease of the heart muscle. 'Cardio' means heart, 'myo' means muscle and 'pathy' means disease. I am raising awareness for Cardiomyopathy as my Dad sadly died of this disease, and I am a genetic carrier, for which I am regularly screened.
