Hello my name is Alice and I am raising funds to support my close friends through a difficult time.

Two amazing people sadly lost their little heart warrior Issac on 25/4/2023
Jenny, Matt and their daughter helped Issac grow into this adorable, carefree and happy little soul. Through all his battles he never stopped smiling and no-one could ever be prouder of this little champion!
Unfortunately for us all, he was taken as a guardian angel to watch over his family from above.

Issac’s adventure;

Issac was born on 2nd September 2021 via c section. The next day during routine checks they found a heart murmur and decided to do some scans to make sure there was nothing wrong. The hospital found that his heart was not working as it should, and sent the scans to the specialist paediatric cardiologist in Southampton hospital, where upon reviewing the scans they found that Issac had an interrupted aiortic arch, which is where the artery that carry’s the blood from the heart to his body wasn’t fully formed, along with a hole in his heart. The PICU transport ambulance swiftly took him to Southampton PICU where he was put on medication to keep his heart working while they planned the first surgery’s to stabilise him.
The next day he had PA bands put on his arterys to help regulate blood flow, and a stent put in to keep blood flow going to his body. The next day they found that his stent had fallen into his heart so they had to go in to his heart and retrieve it and place a bigger one, a couple of days later they realised that his PA were not tight enough so had to go back into his chest and re tighten.
This meant that in 4 days he’s had 3 surgery’s.
After this however he was stable and gradually moved from PICU into a High dependency Unit and then on to a normal heart ward.

Over the next 18 months Issac spent 6 months in hospital culminating in his final surgery in July of 2022 where he had his full repair, this was an 11 hour surgery and marked the beginning of Issacs life as healthy as he could be.
Over the next few months Issac thrived and continued to amaze us every day. Unfortunately on the 25 April 2023 Issacs heart went into a random rhythm and while trying to correct it the paramedics shocked him which unfortunately sent him into another random rhythm that wasn’t strong enough to even create a pulse. He died at around 2:00pm. He passed away peacefully and in no pain.
