Hello, My name is Linny Brown. On April 3rd, 2023 my father, Derek Brown, was taken to the ER for what we thought was a mild stroke. After spending 10 hours in the ER, he was admitted to the ICU. On April 8th, 2023 my father was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer that aggressively metastasized to his brain, lungs, and liver.

My father is currently at home in hospice care where he is surrounded by the unconditional love and support of our family. We have been so touched by the phone calls, texts, and visits showing your love and support. I am starting this GoFundMe for my father Derek Brown to help counterbalance the cost of medical bills and other unforeseeable expenses that have and will occur as my family and I do our best to navigate this impossible situation, filling our home with as much joy and love for my father as possible.
