Thank you for visiting my page. My name is Courtney and I am asking for help with a down payment for a wheelchair-accessible van. Despite my ability to make monthly payments, I will need to make a substantial down payment due to the vehicle's accessibility. My daughter Izzy is wheelchair bound and as she gets older she is definitely outgrowing me. There are many doctor's appointments that she has, and I have a hard time getting her in the vehicle and lifting her wheelchair into the car as well. Despite it being difficult, I make sure she can do family outings as often as possible, despite her difficulty getting in and out of the car. Buying a wheelchair-accessible van will be life-changing for her and I. (If anyone has seen the movie Blended where Drew Barrymore carries her son through the hallway, that unfortunately is Izzy and I going into the van). She will be so happy to comfortably go from the house to anywhere in her wheelchair-accessible van. I have to say never in my younger life would I have wanted a van. However, as my daughter's disability worsened my thoughts of a van changed and now it's not just a want but a need. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
