My dear friends Dwayne and Shirley

Hi everyone, my name is Stacia Burbidge and I am creating this fundraiser for my long-time customers, mechanic, and friends Dwayne and Shirley Miller.

Dwayne and Shirley have been married for 50 years and are some of the most generous people I have had the pleasure of knowing. When I first started working at the Coffee Bean, he was the first person at the stand and still is to this day. It gives me peace of mind while heading to work early in the morning that someone is there waiting to make sure I am safe and that is Dwayne.

Dwayne has been battling Non-Hodgkins lymphoma stage 2 for almost a decade including multiple treatments while still taking care of his family and young granddaughter. Shirley has also been fighting her own battles with breast cancer, lung cancer, stomach cancer, and stage 3 esophageal cancer for over 10 years and has had over 600+ treatments to date.

Even though they are constantly dealing with these ailments, they make sure to take care of their young granddaughter and anyone else who needs their help. Over the years they have constantly been there for anyone of us at the stand, even before my time. They truly are some of the most generous people I know and would appreciate any help that they receive. The funds will be used for future treatments and to continue to take care of their granddaughter. This is important to me because I know they go above and beyond for anyone in need.
