Hello friends and family,

My name is Scott (Scotty) Blakeway, and I am a dedicated baseball player and longtime member of the Men's Senior Baseball League in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, during a recent game, I suffered a serious knee injury while running to first base. I tore my MCL as well as my ACL and broke my tibia bone in two places. I will require surgery and extensive physical therapy to recover.

The injury has been a devastating blow to me both physically and emotionally. Not only am I unable to play baseball, but I am also facing significant medical/home bills and rehabilitation costs. I can't work while I'm recovering as my job requires phyical labor. The cost of surgery, rehabilitation, and lost wages are far beyond what I can afford on my own, and I am reaching out to you for help.
