On Monday May 1st, my family lost an amazing funny soul, Carl Eric Green(Fats) at the age of 56. It was sudden, unexpected and left us all completely heartbroken. He went in for a surgery that should have had him out in a few days but instead we are grieving the loss of him after later complications. Eric grew up in Lakewood and was loved by all. He served in the Navy and made friends anywhere he went. He had a bubbly comedic personality that could make a whole room light up. He was a loving father, husband, son, uncle, brother, and pop pop who will be deeply missed by many. As the family we are asking for any help in paying for the funeral and bills that came along with this loss. Any share or dollar counts and we truly appreciate it and would be forever grateful.
