I am raising funds for our dear friend Clayton Woodley who had emergency surgery on his spine due to a C3-5 epidural abscess with cord compression.
After a week-long stay in the ICU, he was transferred to an inpatient physical rehabilitation center to begin the process of being able to walk and use his arms and hands. He has been in physical rehabilitation for about a month and is still unable to take a few steps without assistance and does not have full use and feeling of his hands yet. The doctors have told him that the nerve damage could take up to a year to recover from.
I've set up this GoFundMe page to help him with the financial burden of his medical bills, to assist him in getting settled in Austin, and to find housing that can accommodate his needs once he is released from physical rehabilitation.
Any amount that you can contribute will be greatly appreciated and will make a huge difference. With your help, we can make sure that Clayton can focus on his recovery without worrying about the financial implications of his situation.
Above all, please keep him in your prayers and meditations — he knows the power of collective faith and intention. Thank you for your prayers, donations, sharing of this page and helping our friend on his journey towards full recovery and artistic expression!
