Hi, my name is Brian Yanez and I am fundraising for my mother who tragically and unexpectedly passed away on Sunday April 30, 2023. My mother and I came to the United States when I was 5. Being 28 now we have been blessed with my ability to work and contribute to building our American dream. Since day one of my birth it has always been my mother and I. From birth where my mother was told I was not responsive. Where while still bleeding from my birth my mom crawled to where I was, took me in her arms and by gods will I took my first breaths. My mother has been a fighter my whole life and with everything good she has brought into this world. I only wish to be able to give her the proper rest that she deserves. Her wish was to be cremated as to not cause any further complications for anyone. Always thinking of others. Her wish was after cremation to be placed in her fathers tomb to be with the first man she loved after a divorce and a new beginning in America. I wish I could be as half the person my mother was to give her everything she deserves but I find my self looking for help.
We started from nothing living in a garage and slowly working our way up. My proudest memory of my mother is when she was able to save for her first apartment even though we moved in with no furniture no food not even a bowl for cereal. My mom went around swallowed her pride and introduced herself to each neighbor and requested just one item from each. While she had to experience some doors slam shut on her. She never wavered she never gave up and was able to obtain a bowl, a cup of milk, a blanket and some cereal. I was fed that day and my mother went without as she cuddled next to me while I was using the blanket as we slept on the floor.
I ask for even the slightest assistance to provide a true loving mother her final wishes .
Thank you
Gracias
