I am writing this on behalf of Gabriela Futsi and Isabelle Futsi. On 11/26/16, Gabriela was walking home when a truck hit her going 40+ mph in Hollywood, CA. Unfortunately the driver didn't stop. She was found by a neighbor who did the right thing and called for help. He followed her in the ambulance to the hospital. Gabby was able to share Isabelle's contact info with the fire department. Isabelle rushed to the hospital to find her mother in critical condition with a bleed in her brain, broken ribs, a broken pelvis, inability to feel her hips and legs and extensive internal bleeding. We've been at the hospital for the last 12 hours. They took her into emergency operating room at 6:00am to see if they could stop the internal bleeding. The doctor came out at 7:00am. The main vein that pumps blood throughout our bodies was severed causing a bleed that they couldn't stop. This is a traumatic experience that no one should have to go through. Gabby is survived by only Isabelle. On top of the mourning and pain associated with Gabby's passing, Isabelle now has to make arrangements for the only mother she had. Isabelle needs all the love and support the world has to offer. While Isabelle is going through the most difficult time as a daughter, she will need our help with making this horrible situation as painless as possible. Everything that you can contribute will go towards Gabby's funeral and the astronomical medical bills Isabelle will encounter. Please keep Gabby and Isabelle in your prayers. Rest In Peace Gabriela.
