The Five Allen Sisters Memorial Scholarship Fund was created to support the educational advancement of aspiring youth. The Allen Sisters: Adele, Alice, Gladys, Arlene and Shirley all from the NYC area were dedicated to family and community in many ways. To continue their legacy, the surviving family members organized to provide opportunities to youth that are willing to put in the work necessary to accomplish their goals.

The family collaborated with the faith based sector, presently, (Breath of Life Ministries Bronx NY) to serve aspiring youth in the Soundview Section of the Bronx a high-need, underserved community in the Bronx NY.
