30th Bday VO Demo Dream

Three years ago I began training for a new field that combined all my previous training and work experience (acting, singing, and even education!) into one thing-
Voice Over!
I can't even begin to explain how happy and at home I feel in the booth. Since returning to CA over a year ago I've been studying and working with a full service production house in Irvine that I absolutely ADORE!! Working with them feels like working with family.
But voices change. Skill set and range increase and improve- and now it's time to go back into the studio and record an updated demo.
My favorite VO Director that I've worked with thus far, has agreed to compile material for me and make time to come into the studio as my demo director before my move to Northern California in June- which, is kinda HUGE!
However, with the cost of the impending move, and buying into a new business- I just don't have the financial ability to make this dream come true within the time constraints I find myself facing.
Which is how I found myself here after a friend said:
"Hey, isn't your birthday coming up.....?"
Because, yes, it is! On April 15th I'll be hitting 30 years on this planet, and how amazing would it be to get to go and celebrate by recording a new demo?!? One that has the potential of helping to create life changing results...
The $2,000 I am asking for will cover the entire fee for the studio time, mixing, mastering, etc. As well as the Directors fee, digital recording, AND a set of hard copy CDs.
If I am able to meet and exceed my goal, anything extra will be used to pay for submission services and go towards my eventual union dues (That's the next big step!!)
