The Debbie Allen Dance Academy Summer Intensive

Hello, my name is Clarity Bates, I'm 12 years old and fundraising to participate in D.A.D.A's(Debbie Allen Dance Academy) summer dance intensive.

I have been dancing since I was around two years old, and it has always been one of my passions. In the past couple of years, dance has been increasingly meaningful to me, and I have recently started Pointe, so an opportunity to grow in my dancing journey is welcome.

Debbie Allen Dance Academy is a non-profit organization focusing on inclusive dance and theatre education, mainly focusing on Black and Latino communities. Their summer intensive is particularly enticing because it will be a learning experience for something I have a passion for.

There will be a diverse selection of dance styles being taught, like African, tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary, and much more!

These funds will be used for tuition for the intensive, and also some supplies such as dance shoes

and leotards.
