MENA wants to buy a final pair before ROMERO closes the doors after 30 years and maybe even dream a bit about what her sneaker legacy could be but when Romero’s unwillingness to let go of a favorite pair gets intense an interesting compromise is made but will that be enough to keep the shop open.
I've spent the last six years working on this script and I finally feel confident that the world is ready to see this story come to life, and to bring it to life I will need the support of film lovers, sneaker heads, binge watchers like you to get this production fully funded.
These funds will go directly to hiring a full cast and crew for production over two weeks and post production expenses following.
All funds go directly to the production and post production budget.

For the past two years I was plagued by the Imposter Syndrome and believed I wasn't experienced enough as a Producer to make this film on my own, and after doing the work of a Producer in News the past two years I've shed that syndrome by doing the work. The next step was to begin pitching the story and from many different conversations about RETROS I've learned that there's a lot of interest in the story and people want to be a part of telling it. I have a script I believe in, actors I want to hire, crew I want to hire, and locations I want to shoot at it's time for the ASK!
