Conquer Cancer With Kara

Kara was diagnosed with DCIS at the age of 27 in February of 2009. Kara has had a local reoccurrence and her stage 3 breast cancer has spread to her lymph nodes. Unfortunately, Kara does not qualify for FMLA because there are less than 50 employees within a 75 mile radius of her job. Kara is about to go on short-term disability. The status of her job is uncertain because of the amount of travel required, we know she will be exhausted with the necessary chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Life never turns out exactly the way we plan it. Kara, Brian and Lennox recently bought a new home and never dreamed they would be in this situation less than 12 weeks later.
