We’re first-generation farmers who have built everything from the ground up—through grit, perseverance, and by advocating for agriculture at every level, from our local community all the way to Washington, D.C. Our lives are devoted to preserving agricultural heritage and ensuring the future of rural America. We’ve stepped up in ways most people wouldn’t, not for recognition, but because this work matters—to us, to our community, and to the future.

Our family is living this legacy every day. We are dairy farmers milking 365 days a year. We pour ourselves into the land, the animals, and the people we feed. For more than a decade, we’ve fought to make this farm work, educating others about where real food comes from and why it matters. With focus on soil health, land regeneration, bio-diversity and a place for community to gather.

With years of tremendously hard work, we’re facing an unexpected crisis. Our private lender, due to circumstances of their own, is unable to extend our farm loan as planned. This means that unless we can raise enough funds in the next 10 months to cover the remainder of the loan, everything we’ve built is at risk. We could lose our land, our herd that feeds over 100 families in four counties, and the largest stone fruit orchard in southeast Colorado—340 trees strong. We have pumped over 41,000 pounds of holistically pasture raised meat into Colorado communities.

Our everything, that we know and believe in. All of this could disappear, despite the fact that our off-farm jobs and relentless effort have made the farm and its operations finally financially sustainable. We will literally have nowhere to go as every penny is pumped into this farm and land.
