Running 300 Miles in May for BCRT

Bone Cancer Research Trust (BCRT) is a charity that I have worked with on numerous occasions and that is dear to my heart following the loss of a close family friend, Zack, to bone cancer in 2011 when he was 15. The day that this donation page is launched, April 17th, marks the 10th year of Zack's passing and is the inspiration behind this fundraising mission. Zack was a beacon of hope and positivity for all throughout his journey and inspired me and many others to embrace a similar attitude to our own lives.

I aim to run over 300 miles in May in order to raise money for BCRT in the hope that a cure will be found so that one day, others who battle the disease don't have to endure the same outcome as Zack. The plan is to run 10 miles per day, for every day in May concluding with a 15 mile run and 25 mile walk on the 29th May.

All donations, no matter how big or small, are greatly appreciated and will be used to fund research into curing the disease, as well as spreading awareness of it and supporting those that suffer from bone cancer as well as their families. The Bone Cancer Research Trust is the leading charity dedicated to fighting primary bone cancer. Their mission is to save lives and improve outcomes for people affected by primary bone cancer through research, information, awareness and support.
