30 Years Serving Youth & Families Tracy Sellers

Hello my name is Chanel Edwards and I’m creating this Go fund me page for my friend and mentor Tracy Sellers a.k.a. Mama Tracy to most youth! Tracy just recently suffered a stroke and has lost mobility on her left side. In addition to this Tracy also suffers with type 2 diabetes and is insulin dependent, with a host of other health issues. I am reaching out to the Community/Village for love and support. Tracy has been a community advocate and supporter of youth and families all across the Twin Cities for 30+ years. She has always been there to help in any way that she possibly could. I personally have witnessed her work 48 hour shifts with young people and families and never bat an eye while still being a great Mother and Grandmother to her own children and grandchildren. 

Many of you may know Tracy’s youngest son McKinley, aka Mickey Breeze, one of the most active DJ’s in the Twin Cities who has been able to pursue his passion for music since he was 8 years old, with the sole support of his loving mother who shows up to support at nearly all of his performances. And now with her current health scare, she is unable to support him or herself and now Breeze has become her primary caregiver. Now is the time that we can support her, in giving back and helping her during her time of need!

Right now she needs donations in order to help her with her current medical  needs . Rehabilitation services that are not covered by her insurance, and lastly the necessity of a mobility scooter for her to get get around a little easier. Simple tasks such as meal preparations, choirs around the house are difficult right now for her to perform. I would also like to add that in the 20+ years that I have known Tracy I have never known her to ask for much of anything from anyone. She’s always been the first one to offer help to other people whenever needed. Now I would hope and pray that this could be returned to her. So I ask, will you help with a donation? If you are not able to donate money, you can donate healthy meals, gift cards, etc. This is a time that she really needs the love, prayers, and the support from her family,friends, and community. I know that times are extremely hard for everyone in this day and age. But, Tracy needs-us!! Please let’s pull together and help her and breeze during this time.
