Hi there, we are Mariners Baseball Ireland, the oldest baseball club in the country, and to celebrate 30 years, we are holding a club day to raise funds for our club kit.

In 3 decades of baseball, we have grown from a dozen 10 year old kids, throwing the baseball around the local park, to a club, that now has 2 senior teams, a cadet team, a little league team and a coach pitch team.

One of our goals this year is to bring the club closer together, and we want to start by kitting out all of our teams in the same club hoodie.

For our parents, we understand there are already a lot of expenses, and we are hoping a small bit of generosity through this collection, will help to get all our youth players matching in with our senior teams, for what we hope will be a memorable season.

But, we do realise they have to earn it, so on Monday 7th June, we are asking all our members to complete a 5k walk (plus 360feet). Why 360 feet?

Well, to mark our 30 years, we are going to walk from our current youth field, in Shoreline Sports Park, to our very first youth field, in the Burnaby Park, Greystones. There, we will have a small diamond set up, where our members can run the bases with their families, just like those dozen 10 year old kids used to do 30 years previously.
