On Saturday, April 23, Hector Sosa Mendoza was shot and killed in his front yard while celebrating his daughter's first birthday. He was attempting to get a person to leave because the man had brought a gun and was brandishing it. Hector was only 30 years-old, and leaves behind a wife and 4 children who need any help you can provide right now during this incredibly shocking and difficult time. I am one of his children's elementary teachers, and after speaking with Hector's wife, she is in desperate need of help to cover funeral expenses, and lost income. Every penny donated will go to the family to help with what they need. I will document and publish all donations going to the family. Any amount can help at this time.
