Hello,
My name is Olly Stables; I am 29, soon to be 30 (hint on the title's name). I am a co-owner of CrossFit FFH.
Turning 30 is a big deal, and often people like to celebrate with parties and experiences they won't forget. I knew that when I turned 30, I wanted to set myself a challenge both mentally and physically; after all, I won't forget that.
30 workouts in 30 hours will begin at 9am on the 4th of November and finish at 1pm on the 5th of November.
Challenge set, I wanted the event to serve another purpose. Leading me to the 180 Project.
The 180 Project blends Crossfit, Education and Life coaching to support people in becoming physically, emotionally, mentally, and socially connected. The project divides up into; Young People, Adult Recovery and Prison Reform. However, to read more, please look at their page, which displays their fantastic work.
The 180 Project is a not-for-profit organisation relying on donations and grant funding, and this is why I am asking if you can spare pennies or pounds; please donate to this cause.
I promise you, 30 workouts over 30 hours will be tough. The workouts will be written in advance and posted for you all to see. Every workout will start on the hour and hopefully be finished before the hour. I would love it if you could get involved either by joining me, cheering me on or, of course, by donating!
