30 & Thankful (Nikki's 30th Birthday)

Nicole Houlihan is turning 30!! We will be celebrating June 11th with all her family and friends! After a year of chemo & radiation and a pandemic, I think we all have some celebrating to do!

To celebrate Nikki's 30th birthday, she asks for donations to the following four organizations: Christmas without Cancer, The Andrew Weishar Foundation, Superhero Collective, and Jay's Hope.

All donations will be divided between these fantastic organizations.

For those of you following NicoleStrong’s story here is the most recent update! 

Nicole has been off chemo and radiation since January of 2021. She completed 11 months of chemotherapy and 12 weeks total of radiation. She is in a surveillance phase now where she has MRIs of her brain, shoulder, spine, and pelvis and a CT of her chest every 3 months. Besides a small lesion on her pelvis that has not changed in size over the last two sets of scans there is no evidence of disease! “NED”!! 

Nicole went to MD Anderson at the end of 2021 to confirm she is doing the proper surveillance and to have a second set of eyes look at the spot on her pelvis! MD Anderson was amazing! They confirmed there is nothing to do with the pelvic lesion besides monitor and recommended she continue the scans every 3 months! Possibly switching to every 4 months at the end of the year! 

Pete, Nicole & Rocco are all doing well! A “new” normal! 

Nicole will have her next set of scans right around her 30th birthday in June!
