Do you want to join us in making a difference? St Neots Round Table and 41 Club are raising money in aid of Round Table Children's Wish and every donation will help.
About the charity:
Round Table Children's Wish is a very small charity that grants handcrafted wishes to children who are suffering from life threatening illnesses across the UK. The children we support are between the ages of 4 and 17, and are suffering from illnesses such as Brain Tumors, Leukemia, Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy, organ failure and other degenerative illnesses.
Past wishes granted include: sending an 8 year old girl to Disneyland; organising for an 11 year old boy to meet his Liverpool FC heroes and sending a 15 year old girl to the Isle of Mull to see the Orca whales she so admired.
Our challenge:
15-20 of us are each embarking on a 30 mile walk to celebrate 30 years of the charity's amazing work and to raise money and awareness so this work can continue.
Due to the current Covid-19 climate, we at Round Table and 41 Club have been unable to undertake many of our usual charitable endeavours - this walk gives us the perfect opportunity to raise money in a socially-distanced and Covid-safe manner.
Please give anything you feel you are able to, every little bit will make a huge difference. And please spare a thought for our poor ruined legs!
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us!
