AMAZING news! We have surpassed our fundraising goal and completed the 30 miles!!! (We reached 30 miles on Nov 11). I'm so grateful for all of the support. Sincere thank you to all who decided to take part in this with us.

Bruno and I are walking 30 miles to help the American Cancer Society fight for a world without cancer. In a time of unprecedented funding cuts, I want to do my part to support research & science. I also want to honor my grandparents and my great aunt who all died from cancer.

Many of you got to know my beloved Gramps who died 10 years ago from glioblastoma, a terribly aggressive form of brain cancer. He was my hero, and although his death left a hole in my heart that will never go away, he also left behind a legacy of service and commitment to community. I think he would approve of this.
