We as a family alongside Freddie’s School are fundraising to get Freddie an all terrain electric wheelchair. Throughout the month of April 2023 there will be a different event taking place each day in a bid to raise the remaining £10,000 needed. Freddie has Spinal Muscular Atrophy a genetic neuromuscular condition, as a result of this Freddie is a full time wheelchair user. Freddie currently uses a manual wheelchair and can manage well indoors with this however struggles outdoors. An all terrain electric wheelchair will mean Freddie has no barriers in accessing all areas and can play with his friends care free without needing assistance.
