On April 4, 2026, Amber and Curtis Clark stood before God and their loved ones, joyfully beginning their life as husband and wife. Just three short weeks later, on April 25, their dreams were shattered when Curtis, only 39 years old, passed away suddenly from a heart attack. Curtis was a devoted Christian man who loved the Lord with all his heart and cherished Amber deeply. They had excitedly planned to purchase their first home together, with closing scheduled for April 27, 2026. Because of his sudden death, the purchase had to be cancelled. Amber had already moved out of her previous home in anticipation of the new one — and now she is left without a place to live while grieving the loss of her husband.

In the middle of her overwhelming sorrow, Amber must now plan Curtis’s funeral and urgently find new housing. The financial pressure on top of her heartbreak feels crushing. She is doing everything she can to keep moving forward, but the cost of the funeral, temporary housing, moving, and basic living expenses is more than she can handle alone.
