Hi everyone — we’re John, Gary, and Lew, and we’re taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for a cause close to our hearts: helping launch our brand-new Under 7s rugby team at Halton Farnworth Hornets.

Starting a new team from scratch means we need everything — from training equipment and balls to team kits, cones, and safety gear. Our goal is to give every child the chance to train, play, and fall in love with rugby without families having to worry about extra costs.

Rugby is so much more than just a game — it teaches teamwork, confidence, respect, and friendship. We want to give these kids the opportunity to be part of something special, to grow together, and to wear the Hornets colours with pride.

Taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks (26 miles and over 5,000 feet of climbing!) won’t be easy, but we’re determined to do it to give these young players the best possible start.

Every donation — big or small — will go directly toward getting the team up and running.
