Are you ready to help us make a difference?

We'll be undertaking the 3 peak challenge to raise money for Shropshire Mental Health Support in memory of our friend Rich Harber.

What is the 3 peaks challenge?
a physically demanding outdoor challenge that involves climbing the three of the highest mountains in the United Kingdom:

  • Ben Nevis - 1345 metres (4413 ft)
  • Scafell Pike - 978 metres (3,209 ft)
  • Snowdon - 1,085 metre (3,560 ft)

Our adventure begins on 13th June 2025 with a 370-mile journey from Shrewsbury to Glencoe, Scotland. We'll be tackling Ben Nevis first in the cover of darkness, the tallest of the three peaks at 1,344 meters (4,409 feet).

Climbing Ben Nevis usually takes around 7 to 8 hours, but we'll aim to finish in just 5 to stay on track to complete the challenge within 24 hours!

Next, we’ll head south into England's Lake District to take on Scafell Pike, which stands at 978 meters (3,209 feet).

Finally, we’ll tackle Snowdon in Wales, rising to 1,085 meters (3,560 feet). Those that would like to join in but feel all 3 peaks is too much for them - they're welcome to join us on the final climb up Snowdon.

The three mountains are spaced about 480 miles (772 km) apart, meaning around 10 hours of driving. This leaves us only 14 hours to conquer all three peaks!

All within 24 hours...

More about why...
To raise money for a fabulous Charity & to pay tribute to our friend Rich Harber who sadly took his life in July 2024. Rich loved the countryside and would walk and talk for miles if it meant being outside and at one with nature.

We want to undertake this challenge to highlights the harmful and life-threatening nature of the twin demons of addiction and depression.

We hope that this challenge raises awareness and brings understanding to the cunning and destructive power of these diseases - especially in in the lives of men like Rich (on the right) in our generation.
