3 Peaks Challenge: Deliver Two Ambulance Vehicles to Ukraine

Donation protected
In June, George Beattie, Hector Copcutt, Johnny Pitman and Ed Nichol will drive two ambulances packed with medical supplies from the UK to Lviv, Ukraine, to be used as aid vehicles on the front line.

One 4×4 has already been kindly donated by Caragh Booth and James Boughey, founders of UK to Ukraine. We are now raising money for a 2nd ambulance: a 4x4 pickup truck. 100% of the money raised on this page will go directly towards buying the vehicle.

Our fundraising challenge:
To help raise funds, the four of us are taking on the National 3 Peaks Challenge on the 17th-18th June. We have been training hard and will attempt to climb the highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike), and Wales (Snowdon) within 24 hours. This is roughly 40km of hiking with 3,000m of ascent and 700km of driving. A challenge sure to test us physically and mentally.

How You Can Help:
We have already received a generous donation of a Volvo XC90. We are now looking to purchase a second vehicle, a reliable 4×4 ambulance, estimated at £4,500. All money raised on this page goes directly towards that. Any donation is greatly appreciated. Spread the word, and please share this page.

Do you have a reliable 4×4? If you or someone you know has a vehicle that they would be willing to donate or sell, please get in touch at +44 7340 215920.

The trip:
Delivering the vehicle ourselves cuts through bureaucracy and gets the ambulances straight to those who need them. The vehicles will be packed with critical medical supplies. We will complete the 2200km journey from England to Lviv over 3 days, after which the trucks will be handed over to the amazing StaySafeUA team. After delivering the trucks, we will volunteer at a Ukrainian orphanage, supporting children affected by the war.

Our Past Trip:
Previously, Hector and George drove to the Polish-Ukrainian border and delivered £150,000 worth of medical equipment for frontline hospitals and medical teams in Ukraine. You can see our past fundraiser and updates here: https://gofund.me/195f696ba

This trip showed us first-hand how urgent the need for aid and 4x4s is, and that is why we are going back.

Your Impact:
Publicity for the Ukrainian war is dwindling, but the need for support is greater than ever. By supporting this journey, you will help save lives and show international support for the brave people of Ukraine. Thank you for your generosity and support.

About the Charity:
We have chosen to work with Healing Hands Network, registered charity no 1080268, as we know them personally and have seen the amazing work they do. We would like to thank UKtoUkraine for their support in publicising the trip, as well as Healing Hands Network for their logistical support, and for giving us this opportunity to deliver these supplies and vehicles. Another thanks to Caragh Booth and James Boughey, who have kindly donated their 4x4. We would really appreciate any further support in delivering this essential aid to the Ukrainian people.
