3 Peaks. 24 Hours. One Rugby Club That Needs Your Help.

Donation protected
I’ve taken on a serious challenge: completing the National 3 Peaks in just 24 hours to help raise vital funds for Old Leamingtonians RFC.

The club is currently under financial pressure and urgently needs support for essential repairs and improvements. Top of the list? Fixing the club’s septic tank. It’s not glamorous — but it’s absolutely necessary to keep the club functioning and welcoming for everyone who uses it.

The 3 Peaks Challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike), and Wales (Snowdon) within a single 24-hour window. That means:

13 hours of hiking
11 hours of driving
44km distance
3,000m of ascent
All in a single, exhausting day.

I wouldn’t be doing this unless it meant something deeply personal.

My kids have played for Old Leams. I’ve coached there. I still play there. This club is more than a rugby ground—it’s a community hub that teaches young people the core values of the sport: teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline, and sportsmanship.

That’s why I’m pushing myself to the limit. Not for glory — but to keep this club going strong for future generations.

If you can, please support the cause with a donation of any size. Every pound will help keep the club's facilities safe and functioning. And if you can’t give, a share or word of support goes a long way too.
