I’ve had the privilege of working with Kevin, a truly remarkable individual. Kevin has been battling cancer for just over 2 years and as previously mentioned I’ve never seen anyone so remarkably determined to win this battle. We will be leaning on Kevin’s attitude so that these mountains have no choice but to be conquered. It wont be easy but we will succeed. Kevin’s resilience and spirit have been a source of inspiration—not just to me, but to everyone around him. Kevin is not defined by his illness, while yes it is something he deals with but he’s still making the most of living life like he wanted to - mainly just having fun with his wife Lynsey and son Ralph. But also giving back to people wherever possible. Even if it’s just listening to someone or helping out whenever he can. Like our friendship we know how important it is to support each other and for this 3 peak challenge we have decided to raise money for one of city’s best charities “Liverpool Supper Project”. It depends heavily on amazing volunteers and funding to be able to feed Liverpools homeless every Wednesday from 19:30 on Church Street and has been doing so since Dec 2019. Although the raised money will be going to such an amazing local charity, myself and the other people undertaking the 3 peak challenge wanted to do something to acknowledge the immense belief and attitude that Kevin and his family have shown on a daily basis. Any support—whether through donations or simply spreading the word—would mean the world to us and to Kevin, Lynsey and Ralph (Batman)
