3 Peak challenge for Canolfan Y Bedol- ASD Teaching Facility

Hi, my name is Shaunah and I work for a company called Teaching Personnel where I staff Teachers and Teaching Assistants to the local primary schools across the Carmarthenshire area. Since starting this role in 2022, I have witnessed first hand the dedication and effort our educators put into providing our children in the local community a safe space to learn. On the 12th August 2024, I will be climbing the 3 Welsh Peaks within 24 hours to raise money for Ysgol Y Bedol's Autism Teaching Facility. The 3 Welsh Peaks I will be climbing include Pen-Y-Fan, Cadair Idris and Snowdon.

Growing up in Ammanford and attending Ysgol Y Bedol as a pupil was a privilege and one that I am proud to raise money for. I had a great education which I have utilized into adulthood and is something I want to give thanks for. Therefore raising money for Canolfan Y Bedol was the perfect way to show my gratitude.

Canolfan Y Bedol opened in 2022 and has been flourishing ever since. However with an increased demand for the facility, this now requires an increase in supplies alongside support to the children, parents and the staff working in the unit. My goal is to raise £300 for the unit so that they can purchase classroom supplies that are tailored specifically to the children.
