We are attempting to complete the '3 Peaks Challenge' for Alzheimer's Scotland starting at Ben Nevis on the 21/5/21.
The Challenge consists of us climbing the highest peak in Scotland - Ben Nevis, the highest peak in England - Scafell Pike and the highest peak in Wales - Mt Snowdon, all within a 24 hour period.
We have been inspired to do this by Nick Gardner who is hoping to raise £28,200 by climbing all 282 Munros in 1200 days at 80 years of age. Nick Will be joining us on this challenge.
This is Nicks Story here: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/nicks.munro.challenge
Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of dementia in the UK and sadly effects many families across Scotland. Alzheimer's takes a devastating toll on its victims and their families. By completing this challenge we hope to raise money that will go towards supporting victims and families of this disease as well as funding vital research into the causes of the disease. All the money we raise will go towards Nicks total.
This will be physically and mentally challenging for us so any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
