3-Mile walk in memory of Ayaan Hussain
Sahar's birthday Charity Walk with Families & friends in memory our beautiful angel Ayaan Hussain.
Hello, my name is Sahar. On the 27th of June 2020, I lost one of the most important people in my life, my brother Ayaan. Ayaan was not just my brother, he was my best friend, my strength, and my hero. We did everything together and I miss him so much. For my 8th birthday this year, I decided I would like to raise money for 2 very special charities with the help of my friends and family by doing a 3-mile walk on the 17th of October and then another 3mile walk on the 24th of October at Heartwood Forest in St Albans.
The 2 charities that I have chosen are;
1. ‘Crohn's & Colitis foundation’ - this is a leading charity for Crohn’s and Colitis in the UK. This charity is close to my heart because my brother suffered from Ulcerative Colitis, and this was what painfully took him away from us last year at the young age of 13. I saw how much pain he was in and how it affected him daily. Crohn's & Colitis Foundation aim to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life for children and adults affected, as well as fund basic research.
2. ‘Ayaan JM trust’ – this charity was created by my parents in the loving memory of my brother, Ayaan. This charity aims to help and support vulnerable people in Bangladesh and provide them with various facilities that they currently do not have access to.
It would mean the world to me, my family, and my friends if you could donate a small amount as this money will make a real difference in people's lives.
