Want to join me in challenging yourself and making a difference?
My name is James Silvas. Husband, Father & Mindset Specialist.
Every year I do something that I deem as "Crazy" to remind myself to push the limits. Growing up an Athlete, I find that pushing through physical barriers strengthened my mindset in all areas of life. As a Mindset Specialist by profession, I do my best to study my own mind in order to help others understand theirs and what better way to gather research than putting myself through things I have never done before.
Last year I did 61 miles around LV. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done. 35 brave souls did it with me doing as many miles as they could. It was painful. It was grueling. But what made it fun, was the people who came together.
We raised money for another non-profit in town and I fell in love with the process of bringing awareness to missions that not only I believe in, but that are necessary to know about.
This year, I plan to run/walk 78 miles (3 marathons) around LV. I know, it's going to be hard, but that's the point.
This year I want to highlight a non-profit and mission that is extremely important.
Enter The Embracing Project. Their mission is to promote peace and healing for children and youth victims/survivors of sexual exploitation, sex trafficking, and violence through the development of specialized programs, trauma-informed care, and unconditional support.
I want to do my part in helping this organization and the young girls/woman they serve, heal and have a safe space to work through their experiences.
Join me in my efforts. Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
