Our Family’s Story

I am a mom to three incredible children, two of whom are non-verbal and have special needs. I am their full-time, primary caregiver, and one of my children is homebound. With little outside support, we’ve faced immense challenges—but our family continues to move forward with love, hope, and resilience.

Right now, we are in urgent crisis: our utilities are at risk, and we could lose our home, the safe haven that holds our hearts and memories.

This isn’t just a house. It’s where we experienced the heartbreaking loss of my eldest son, whose bedroom (cover photo) has become a sanctuary for love, comfort, and quiet healing. In a home where words are often hard to come by, his presence continues to guide and inspire us every day. Losing our home would mean losing the very heart of our family—the place where we feel safe, dream, thrive, create, and shine.

How You Can Help

Every donation, no matter the size, will directly impact our family:

$4,000 – Past-due mortgage to keep our home safe

$1,500 – Overdue electric bill to keep the lights on

$2,000 – Car repair & transportation to maintain access to appointments and emergencies, food, and clothing.

$2,500 – Special needs accommodations, therapy, and sensory items to create a sensory room for the kids to help regulate emotions during grief and transitions
