Hi everyone, we are Cole&Friends Animal Rescue.
We are asking for help for three incredible cats who have survived years on the streets thanks only to the kindness of strangers. Each of them has suffered, each of them needed urgent veterinary care, and each of them deserves a safe, pain-free future.
Luna
Luna has been living on the streets for the past 2–3 years, fed by kind people after her owner sadly passed away. At some point she was hit by a car, but no one took her to a vet.
By the time she reached us, the nerves in her tail were dead, causing her to drag it along the floor with no feeling at all. There was no choice but to amputate her tail to stop pain, injury, and infection.
On top of this, Luna has a heart murmur, meaning she needed a heart echo and X-rays before surgery could even take place.
Luna’s vet bills so far exceed £1,000.
Gideon
Gideon also survived on the kindness of others, finding refuge at a church where he was fed for a long time. Sadly, he too needed surgery — this time on his eye.
The surgery was successful, and Gideon is finally pain-free. Watching him recover has been incredibly moving. The greatest news is that he has found his forever home and will be spoiled and loved forever.
His vet bill came to almost £900.
Stompy
Last but not least is Stompy, a true gentleman who spent years living rough on the streets. When we got him to the vet, he had a severe wound on his leg caused by extreme diarrhoea. He was unable to clean himself properly, which led to serious infection.
Stompy is also missing half of his tail and arrived with his coat in a very poor condition, requiring full shaving. To make things harder, he is FIV positive.
His ongoing stomach problems are still a concern — tests have come back negative for bacteria, so further investigation is needed.
The biggest challenge ahead is his dental health. He is missing many teeth, and the remaining ones will most likely need to be removed to prevent constant pain and infection.
These three cats didn’t ask for this life. They survived neglect, injury, illness, and years without proper medical care — and yet they are gentle, trusting, and still full of love.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help cover vet bills and ongoing treatment.
If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser means just as much.
Thank you for helping Luna, Gideon, and Stompy finally get the care and dignity they deserve.
