Ym mis Mehefin eleni cafodd un o fy ffrindiau gorau a hiraf ddiagnosis o Ewing Sarcoma (math prin o ganser yr esgyrn). Mae hyn wedi fy effeithio’n bersonol ynghyd â gweddill ei ffrindiau a’i deulu. Mae gen i ffydd lawn y bydd yn brwydro y erbyn y clefyd ofnadwy hwn ac mi fydd yn ôl gyda ni yn fuan iawn yn chwerthin ac yn ôl yn chwarae pêl-droed i’w annwyl Drefach!

Er mwyn codi arian ac ymwybyddiaeth am y clefyd ofnadwy hwn, penderfynais osod yr her i mi wneud y 3 Chopa Cymreig mewn un diwrnod ar yr 8fed o Fedi ynghyd â chymorth rhai ffrindiau a fydd yn ymuno â mi am rannau o'r daith i fyny'r tri mynydd (Yr Eryri, Cadair Idris a Pen y Fan). Mae Will wedi gofyn imi godi arian ar gyfer Teenage Cancer Trust gan eu bod wedi bod o gymorth mawr iddo ef a'i deulu ers y diagnosis. Os gallwch gyfrannu byddem yn ddiolchgar iawn. In June of this year one of my best and longest friends had a diagnosis of Ewing Sarcoma (a rare type of bone cancer). This has devastated me personally along with the rest of his friends and family. But we know Will is a fighter as can be seen every time he walks on to a football pitch! I have full faith he will fight this awful disease and defeat it and be back with us very soon having a laugh and for him to be back playing football for his beloved Drefach!

To raise money and awareness for this awful disease I decided to set myself the challenge to do the 3 Welsh Peaks in one day on the 8th of September along with a help of some friends who will join me for parts of the journey up the three mountains (Yr Eryri, Cadair Idris & Pen y Fan). Will has requested that I raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust as they have been very helpful with him and his family since the diagnosis.
