Help Bella Fight for Her Life

Bella is an 8-year-old Golden Labrador Retriever with the kindest heart and the most soulful eyes. She’s not just a dog, she’s family. Bella has been a source of unconditional love and joy for my sister, her boyfriend, and their two young children. She’s grown up alongside my niece and nephew, always by their side, offering comfort, laughter, and love.

But right now, Bella is in the fight of her life. She’s battling Lyme disease, anaplasmosis, and kidney disease. Her blood levels are dangerously high, 80 times what they should be and the toll on her body is overwhelming. The vet has recommended hospitalization, but the road to recovery is long, uncertain, and expensive. Hospitalization alone is $100 a day, not including treatments or medications that could save her life.

This is where I need your help. Losing Bella isn’t just unthinkable for her family, it’s heartbreaking for all of us who love her. My heart is still raw from losing my dog, Chester, not long ago, and I can’t bear to see my niece and nephew go through the pain of losing their best friend so soon.

Bella is more than a pet. She’s a protector, a companion, and a source of endless love. Her family is doing everything they can to help her, but they can’t do it alone.
