My name is Eddie Keiser, most people know me as Kay, long story there, we'll get back to that. I'm 62 years old and for 62 years I've taken care of myself and my family and it's worked out fairly well. I've been married for 35 years and have raised two boys and half the neighborhood and we are still waiting to see how that turns out. My wife and I have worked hard to provide for our family and for all the people that have graced our life with their presence. In all that time we have never asked for help, but then you get cancer and things change. First it takes your savings and then you sell things that you never thought you would. After three operations, chemo and radiation treatment, I find myself in a little bit of a jam. Friends have tried to help keep us afloat, but we have fallen behind with the mortgage and medical bills.  We've been taking care of our grandkids, Myla 2 and Jayden 1 and it's become a little overwhelming. In all this time, we have always paid our bills, and never asked for help from anyone. We don't need much, just enough to keep the house and catch up on some bills. I know most of you know me as the grumpy old man, and yes I am. My wife is kinda of cool too.  Our children have helped as much as they can, but we can't really lay this burden on them. If you can help, we will be forever grateful.
As most of you know, all of the insurance premiums have raised this year, I find myself without funds to find out if my cancer is in remission. We hope that everything has worked out and that things will look up for us in the coming year. Any help would be great.
