On December 14, 2019 I adopted the sweetest most adorable kitten! Adopting this little fur-ball was a big decision after Mr. KittyMan's passing, but we fell in love with Churro instantly. We could tell immediately that he was a very special guy with so much love and affection.

This morning (January 4, 2020), I woke up to find him extremely lethargic and vomiting constantly. I rushed him to the animal hospital and was informed that he has an obstruction in his intestines which caused damage to his kidneys. We were faced with the option of emergency surgery or euthanasia. The surgery is risky and there is no guarantee that he will make it through or recover completely, however Josh and I would not be able to live with ourselves if we didn't at least try to save him. 

Churro is currently in surgery and we are awaiting feedback from the hospital. We are facing tremendous debt due to the costly bill. We have been quoted in between $3,500-$5,500 on the low end depending on post-op recovery. We understand this is a difficult time of year, just after the holidays, however we hope that anyone who is able to contribute will do so. We greatly appreciate good vibes for Churro's surgery and speedy recovery!
